King Cake Festival at Champions Square

On January 29, Ochsner Presents 4th Annual King Cake Festival - a celebration benefitting Ochsner Hospital for Children!

Held in Champions Square, the festival is a chance for you to taste king cakes from 26 bakeries! Plus you can enjoy school performances and live music from Remedy, Roddie Romero, and Flow Tribe. There will be celebrity tasting judges, local art vendors and an awesome kids game zone area. 

The festival is free admission for the whole family. Tasting tickets are $10 for 10 tickets, with ticket packages available so you can try and vote for your favorite king cake.

Sunday, January 29 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Champions Square – at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Fitness Challenge:  Gladiator 4.5k Rep Run (2.8 mile run plus 9 unique workout stations with 25 reps each)
Registration          8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Rep Run START     9:00 a.m.

Family Fun Run/Walk:  (1 mile around Superdome)
Registration        8:00 a.m.
Run START         9:45 a.m.

Pre-registration: KIDS (12 & under) $15 & Adults $25
Day of Registration: KIDS (12 & under) $20 & Adults $30

Registration fees include entry to both faces (if desired).
(Prizes will be awarded for top finishers, best costumes and best decorated stroller).

GRAND PRIZE: The overall male and female champions and 1st youth male and female champions (age 12 and under) of both the Gladiator Rep Run and the One-Mile Fun Run will receive a *YEAR OF FREE SMOOTHIES from Smoothie King.
