Studio KIDS! at NOMA - Art Classes in New Orleans

For 5 - 10 year olds

Aspiring artists, get ready to sharpen your creative skills! This Fall, students ages 5 - 10 will explore different art-making tools and techniques. In each Saturday class, Studio KIDS! explores art made by diverse cultures as inspiration for art projects. From sculpting to painting, each class features different media and techniques. Register for one class or the entire series. Make sure to sign up in advance to ensure your spot.

Tool: Modeling Tool
Learn how to model and sculpt a clay bowl embellished with designs inspired by pottery in NOMA’s galleries.

Native Nature
Tool: Chamois
Explore pastel shading techniques as you create a composition inspired by local flora and fauna.

Vivid Views
Tool: Palette
Mix up some vivid colors to use in your landscape painting inspired by Seeing Nature: Landscape Masterworks from the Paul G. Allen Family Collection.
