Summer Reading Programs at Libraries - Orleans & Jefferson

June 23, 2016
Hooray for reading! Yay for books!

Have your kids  signed up for the 2016 Summer Reading Program?

The summer reading program is a great way to reduce your kids screen time. Keep their heads in the books and away from the TV, phone, tablet and computer!

Along with the reading program comes lots of free entertainment! The Children’s Summer Reading Program offers 200+ free programs for children ages 0 to 12. Programs are held at all library locations through July. I highly encourage you to take advantage of this free programming. Great entertainers...in the comfortable cool indoors. My personal favorite is The Magic Yo Yo.

On Your Mark, Get Set, READ! Kick off the 2016 Summer Reading Program with fun and games for the whole family! Come participate in life-sized versions of Candy Land and Angry Birds, challenge yourself with Minute to Win it games and compete in a variety of sports themed games! Games and activities will be available for toddlers, kids and teens!
