Make Creative Memories with Your Family at NOMA in 2016

The New Orleans Museum of Art offers variety of ways for families to experience art together!

Baby Arts Play! at NOMA | Tuesdays at 10:30 am, beginning January 5 through March 29
Instill a love of art at a young age through a guided, hands-on gallery experience. Young Audiences Wolftrap teaching artists will present a series of 12 workshops for caregivers and children ages 1-2. Learn how to integrate music, movement, and drama into everyday playtime to foster children’s developmental growth. Click here for more information.

StoryQuest | Select Saturdays at 11:00 am
Spark imagination, creativity, and a love of reading. Actors, authors, and artists read children’s book, then families explore the galleries together. Themes include creatures, nature, red, weather, and brothers and sisters. Click here for more information.

Friday Nights @ NOMA | Fridays from 5 – 9 pm
NOMA turns up the volume every Friday night! Join us for activities for all ages including live music, art activities, talks, tours, and more. Click here for more information.

Studio KIDS! | Select Saturdays from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Art Detectives, get your magnifying glasses ready! This Spring, students will uncover details hidden throughout the museum. In each class, Studio KIDS! explores art made by diverse cultures as inspiration for art projects. From beading to painting, each class features different media and techniques. Register for one class or the entire series. Make sure to sign up in advance to ensure your spot. Children ages 5 - 10. $25 for members; $30 for nonmembers.
